APS was started its journey in the year of 1989 with a group of youths in the village ‘AKSHAYNAGAR’ was called by the Hon.ble Dr. Basudeb Giri and there was united 100 plus social activist and they was formed the “Akshaynagar Pallisri Sangha” & a lot of community development programs was implement with a vibrant achievements by the funding sources of local, state, central & Foreign funding aids. Slowly our several livelihoods, health care water & sanitation, Agricultural based innovative programs are started & spread-out in the state’s south corner with the active support of our listed donors whose endless efforts are still now in the mind of the villagers that are still knocking with the past remembrance what they have done and how they have started journey from the door of our beautiful Pallisri (APS).
APS Realizing! Heartily, opinions of the villagers— “They are really the God gifted rewards for us!” and still they(people) are waiting for thy Holy steps of their Lord will come soon! The such noble personalities was more and more but One of them was Miss. Merry’s(Hon.ble Madam Marla Smith Nilson) her looks was copied to community dwellers and chanting by women folk specially in a leisure-time when they have in relax session from their daily works. Oh God! Save them all into yours highest paradise!
OBJECTIVE FOR WHICH THE ORGANISATION IS ESTABLISHED
OVER Two decades ago in the year 1989 a group of a intellectuals, respectable people of the locality felt the dire need of a voluntary organization with a group of well devoted social activists. Accordingly a general Body meeting was held in which the founder members and members of the governing body were selected and entrusted with the duties and responsibilities for formation of Voluntary organization duly recognized by the government of West Bengal. As an essential pre-requisite, the Bye-laws – MEMORANDUM OF Association & Rules and Regulation was drafted and after its approval by the General Body, the process for getting the Society Register Under West Bengal Societies Registration Act, XXVI of 1961 was completed. The Aims and objects of the Society has been explicitly defined in the MEMORANDUM OF ASSOCIATION.
The objectives are mainly focused on the Educational, Health & Sanitation, Environmental, Social, Economical and Cultural field services for the total communities of the Target area, especially the poor scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes, OBCs, Minorities and other downtrodden.
Areas of diversification in the field of Rural Developments has also been embarked with the motives to people centered, community participatory and Beneficiary oriented. Alleviations of poverty through skill up gradation, leadership building and income generation avenues were also provided to poor men and women in various rural self employed sectors.
Sorting up and Maintenance of a Model Residential School, strengthening of Boarding facilities for the girl students of Secondary and higher Secondary level, old age home for Aged and indigents, Hospital and Research Centre and I.I.T model re-orientation training institution are the felt need of the target area and we are actively making all-round efforts to achieve the same at the earliest possible.
AKSHAYNAGAR PALLISRI SANGHA is Registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 and also Registered U/S 12A and granted exemption certificate U/S 80G(5)(vi) of Income Tax Act, 1961, with PAN CARD Number. AAAAA5142L
During the Financial Year 2017-2018 we are expecting some foreign contribution and donations under 80G(5))(vi) exclusively for specific project intervention for which the funds sought for.
Apart from this during F.Y. 2017-2018 we are expecting Grant-in-Aid from various Ministries under Central Sector Schemes. Ministry of Rural Development assistance for Rural area is also kin our hand and we are expecting a grand success in our mission.
